A place to connect

Q8Spot displays classified advertisements in Kuwait. Buyers contact sellers directly and agree inspection, price, payment and collection between themselves. Q8Spot currently provides no checkout, delivery, escrow, buyer protection or seller guarantee. Listings are free during this beta.

Posting and account access

Post only genuine offers that you own or are authorised to advertise. Use accurate descriptions, your own or licensed photographs, the correct category and an honest price. Submitted ads require administrator approval. Posting, saved items and seller management require a free email sign-in using a one-time verification code.

Moderation

Editing an ad takes it out of public view until it is approved again. Administrators may reject or remove misleading, prohibited or abusive content and suspend accounts. Approval is a content review, not verification of ownership, quality or identity.

Prohibited listings

Do not post stolen or counterfeit goods, weapons or explosives, illegal drugs, sexual services, exploitative content, personal data, accounts or identity documents, scams, deceptive investment offers, or goods and services you cannot lawfully offer. Spam, duplicate ads, harassment and discriminatory or deceptive job advertisements are not allowed.

Sellers are responsible for permissions and licences required for their activity. Restricted wildlife, unsafe products and unlicensed regulated services must not be advertised. Report questionable listings through the listing page or the support form.

Privacy notice

Information used by Q8Spot

For account actions, Q8Spot uses your verified email address and a stable internal account identifier to associate ads, saved items and reports with your account. We store ad descriptions, specifications, phone numbers, photos, timestamps and moderation history. Support requests store the name, email, topic, message, replies, status and timestamps you submit.

Email sign-in and cookies

Sign-in codes are short-lived, single-use and stored only as protected hashes. After verification, Q8Spot uses a secure, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. Resend delivers the email from auth.q8spot.com. Never share a verification code; Q8Spot will not ask for it by phone or message.

Public and private information

Published ads and their photos, phone numbers and details are publicly visible. Drafts and unpublished ads are restricted to their seller and administrators. Do not include information you do not want strangers to see. Support requests are available to administrators; anyone holding both the request reference and private access code can read that conversation.

Storage and deletion requests

The website uses Cloudflare-backed database and photo storage and an email delivery provider. It currently has no advertising pixels or payment processing. Deleting an ad removes it from normal browsing but does not automatically erase moderation history or every stored file. To request a copy, correction or permanent deletion of your information, use Help & contact and select Privacy or deletion request. Do not upload identity documents in the support form.

Safety and complaints

Inspect the item and confirm the seller’s right to sell before paying. Meet in a suitable public place where possible. Treat payment links and requests for advance deposits with caution. Do not assume that an approved ad is guaranteed. Q8Spot does not collect payment for the items advertised.

Use Report this listing when signed in, or send a support request with the listing link. For a moderation appeal, include the ad reference and explain what should be reconsidered. Keep your support reference and access code to read the team’s response. Support is not an emergency service.
